The iAGRI Change Model

The iAGRI approach to organizational transformation at SUA is to bring vitality to the informal system, channeling the energy created there into reform of SUA’s formal system. This is done through conversation-based change management in three stages. In stage one, iAGRI staff engage with SUA administrators, faculty, staff and students in “conversations that matter”. In stage two, the parties engage in a search for solutions, or “ways that work”. Finally, in stage three they take what they have learned and incorporate it into the formal system through “changes that sustain” the organization.

Measuring Organizational Change

iAGRI has developed a 12-part indicator that breaks each stage of the change management model into concrete steps. These steps improve the focus of iAGRI’s organizational transformation activities and make it possible to measure success.
