Collaborative Research Phase I Final Reports
Needs Assessment

The first major activity of iAGRI was to assess the need for institutional capacity-building, long-term training, and collaborative research within SUA, the NARS, and extension services. Assessment team members came from SUA, Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives (MAFC), and the OSUC universities. MAFC includes NARS and extension.





SUALISA is a Statistical Collaboration Laboratory whose main goal is to increase knowledge and application of statistics among SUA undergraduate, postgraduate and academic staff members as well the general public in Tanzania in research. It is one among twenty such laboratories that will be established in developing countries by 2020 under the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistics Analysis (LISA) project based in the Department of Statistics at Virginia Tech, USA.
