Visiting Food Science Guest Lecturer Amy Simonne

On Thursday, February 6th, 2014, iAGRI hosted University of Florida Professor and Extension Food Safety and Food Quality Specialist, Amy Simonne. Dr. Simonne was visiting Morogoro and Sokoine University in order to assist her iAGRI-sponsored master’s student, Mariam Marianda, in preparing her field research in Tanzania. Dr. Simonne was accompanied by her husband, University of Florida Soil Scientist, Dr. Eric Simonne, who also gave a guest lecture to Sokoine soil sciences students.

Dr. Simonne is faculty in the University of Florida's Food Science and Human Nutrition Department and was visiting Sokoine in order to assist her iAGRI-sponsored student with preparations for field reserach.
